MATCHING COLORS MADE FAST AND EASY

For imaging professionals the accuracy of color is crucially important for the quality of their work. To be able to select the finest color shades for an image, professional designers or photographers want to be assured that the colors they see on their monitor are true-to-life, and will be exactly the same on the customer's display and on the final print. To provide this confidence, we have developed PressProof color calibration and profiling software.

EXTREMELY PRECISE COLOR CALIBRATION

PressProof calibrates your display on all shades of gray, resulting in very low delta E values and neutral gray shades. The application also adjusts the luminance to the optimal value set in preferences. With these adjustments the observer is guaranteed to see the colors correctly, as accuracy of color reproduction is determined by colors in the grays as well as white level.

AUTOMATIC DISPLAY ADJUSTMENT*

PressProof automatic display adjustment feature adapts display settings automatically over the DDC/CI channel, so you don’t have to deal with the OSD menu of the monitor. The display is automatically adjusted to a desired white level and optimum color temperature to ensure fast and easy color calibration as well as high quality results.

QUALITY STANDARDS

PressProof performs color calibration to international standards including REC 709 and CIE, and a quality assurance test to ISO 12646 standard - a standard that defines the requirements to color displays used for soft proofing. With PressProof the conformance of your display to ISO 12646 will be easily verified.

DISPLAY PROFILING

The software generates a version 4 ICC profile with 3-dimensional color instruments and 16-bit precision to save color characteristics for the given device. All colors in the created profile have low delta E values. This profile allows cross-platform communication of color and ensures color-accurate viewing for all devices, involved in image reproduction and prepress process.

PROFILING THE INPUT AND OUTPUT DEVICES

If you want to be sure that all your devices reproduce colors in the same way, calibrating your display is an important, yet not the only step you can take towards higher accuracy if you are equipped with PressProof. To achieve flawless results make your camera and printer colors accurate as well.

CAMERA PROFILING

Profile any digital camera with PressProof using its different built-in test charts. In addition, you are not limited by the only rigid image format anymore -  PressProof supports the following image file formats: jpeg, bmp, png and tiff.

PRINTER PROFILING

With PressProof profiling tool you are able to create multiple highest quality ICC output profiles for RGB/CMYK/Monochrome printers, to choose from a range of the most utilized presets for CMYK printers and to use different types of color charts for getting the most accurate profiles.

HISTORY DATABASE AND REPORTS

PressProof provides evidence of maintenance for all your displays. Detailed reports for color calibration or QA tasks are saved in history database with a possibility to export them as pdf, print and file. Automatic backup is performed for history database to ensure not a letter is lost.

ANY GRAPHICS CARD AND MEASURING DEVICE

PressProof is compatible with any commercially available graphic board and the most popular models of colorimeters and spectrophotometers.

HARDWARE CALIBRATIONpp screen12

PressProof can calibrate the display itself instead of saving the corrections in the graphic board of the computer. In this way, the
monitor remains calibrated no matter which machine it is connected to.

MULTI PLATFORM

PressProof is compatible with the latest versions of Windows and Macintosh OS, including Windows XP, Windows 7, 8 and 10; and Macintosh OS X from 10.7.

PRESSPROOF REMOTE MANAGEMENT

With PressProof Remote Management it is easy to control an unlimited number of displays from one single location. A system administrator can successfully manage multiple displays, be it 4 or 5 monitors in a small creative firm, or dozens of them in a network of publishing facilities. Color calibration and quality control can be performed on all displays in multiple locations from a secure web server with a relay system for additional data protection. The system administrator can schedule tasks for client machines, and a notifier on the client machine will remind the user to perform the task when it is due. An automatic alert system notifies the administrator via e-mail whenever a calibration or a QA task on one of the client machines has failed.
