Konica Minolta CA 210 Integrated In PerfectLum Medical Monitor Calibration Tool
03/19/2012, Nice, France - QUBYX Limited has announced that their medical monitor calibration and quality assurance software PerfectLum 3.0, designed for medical imaging industry, now supports a highly accurate reference instrument for whiteness and color control on LCD and TFT displays - CA 210 Display Color Analyzer by Konica Minolta.

The Konica Minolta measurement device, widely used by display manufacturers as a reference device for LCD and TFT monitors, is capable of measuring luminance as low as 0.1 cd/m2 and obtaining color measurements with an accuracy of ±0.002 for white and ±0.004 for primary colors. It also supports flicker measurement (using the LCD Flicker Measuring Probe), which is vital for testing the quality of LCD displays.
PerfectLum medical display calibration and QA application is designed to improve and verify the performance of displays, utilized in medical imaging industry. PerfectLum is capable of performing DICOM, Gamma and CIE L calibrations, as well as acceptance and constancy tests for such medical industry standards as AAPM TG18, DIN 6868-57, DIN 6868-157 Norm-Entwurf, JESRA X-0093 and IEC 62563-1. PerfectLum is compatible with most commercially available monitors, video cards and measurement devices. Integrating Konica Minolta CA 210 will now add even more compatibility to the software.
With PerfectLum supporting Konica Minolta CA 210, not only the compatibility of the software will be enhanced, but also the functionality of the display color analyzer.
