QUBYX Has Developed a DICOM Preset Display For US Electronics (USEI)
September, 2009 - QUBYX Software Technologies, a major source of medical imaging and color management products, today announced that it has released a DICOM calibration application for the Minneapolis based company, USEI.
Aware of the software company’s meticulous code, US Electronics contacted QUBYX with a special need: to incorporate a DICOM preset to an existing monitor. USEI is selling a display made by Korean manufacturer LG into the medical market. Considering that the LG display did not have a DICOM preset that is required by the medical market, USEI asked QUBYX to make the display DICOM pre-calibrated without changing anything in the hardware of the displays.
QUBYX values customer needs and has the know-how and manpower to deliver special developments for customers. QUBYX has pioneered development of this special medical monitor calibration application that will make an LG display pre-calibrated for DICOM, and without the need of any measurements, calibration process or hardware modifications. The customer simply plugs in the display, installs the special medical display calibration tool from QUBYX, called “USEI UCAL Lite”, reboots and the display is set to the DICOM GSDF preset.
