MATCHING COLORS NOW FAST AND EASYFor imaging professionals the accuracy of color is crucially important for the quality of their work. To be able to select the finest color shades for an image, a professional designer or photographer wants to be assured that the colors they see on their monitor are true-to-life, and will be exactly the same on the customer's display and on the final print. To provide this confidence, we have developed PressProof color calibration and profiling software. EXTREMELY PRECISE CALIBRATIONPressProof calibrates your display on all shades of gray, resulting in very low delta E values and neutral gray shades. The application also adjusts the luminance to the optimal value set in preferences. With these adjustments the observer is guaranteed to see the colors correctly, as accuracy of color reproduction is determined by colors in the grays as well as white level. DISPLAY PROFILINGThe software generates a version 4 ICC profile with 3-dimensional color instruments and 16 bit precision to save color characteristics for the given device. All colors in the created profile have low delta E values. This profile allows cross-platform communication of color and ensures color-accurate viewing for all devices involved in image reproduction and prepress process. AUTOMATIC DISPLAY ADJUSTMENTPressProof adjusts display settings automatically over the DDC/CI channel, so there is no need to use the OSD menu of the display. The display is automatically adjusted to a desired white level and optimum color temperature to ensure fast and easy calibration as well as high quality results.

QUALITY STANDARDSPressProof calibrates to international standards including REC709 and CIE, and performs a quality assurance test to ISO 12646 standard - a standard that defines the requirements to color displays used for soft proofing. With PressProof the conformance of your display to ISO 12646 will be easily verified.
PRESSPROOF REMOTE MANAGEMENTWith PressProof Remote Management it is easy to control unlimited number of displays from one single location. A system administrator can successfully manage multiple displays, be it 4 or 5 monitors in a small creative firm or dozens of them in a network of publishing facilities. Calibrations, verifications, and quality assurance tests can be performed on all displays in multiple locations from a secure web server with a relay system for additional data protection. The system administrator can schedule tasks for client machines, and a notifier on the client machine will remind the user to perform the task when it is due. An automatic alert system notifies the administrator via e-mail whenever a calibration or a QA task on one of the client machines is failed.

HISTORY DATABASE AND REPORTSPressProof provides evidence of maintenance for all your displays. Detailed reports for calibrations or QA tasks are saved in history database with a possibility to export them as pdf, print and file. Automatic backup is performed for history database to ensure not a letter is lost. ANY GRAPHICS CARD AND MEASURING DEVICEPressProof is compatible with any graphics card commercially available. If you already have a measuring device, you probably won’t need another. PressProof works with nearly every model ever made. HARDWARE CALIBRATIONInstead of saving the calibration LUT (Look Up Table) on your computer’s graphics card, PressProof saves it inside any supported display. This ensures highly precise color temperature, gray shades, luminance, and black point. MULTI PLATFORMPressProof is compatible with the latest versions of Windows and Macintosh OS, including Windows 7 32 and 64 bit, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2000, and Macintosh OS X from 10.4.
